You should know as well as I from Metroid Fusion that a metroid and a X can't fuse together because they are natural enemies(the Metroids eat the X which is why Samus was cured from the X parasite by a metroid based antidote in Fusion).
Also, wouldn't such a powerful metroid as Metroid X mutate into some cooler form? They all seem to do that(like the Queen Metroid or Metroid Prime).
Finaly, do you mean "prepared for THIS combat" because you wrote "prepared for HIS combat" in the flash... typo
